This is an early release model that should show up in 2007; hence, the reason why it made this 2007 list. In short, the Kawasaki 450 Enduro should bring the same kind of power and performance the KX model delivers with added comfort for off road maneuvers.
Hence, it should be absolutely fabulous.
Reinforcing this, the Kawasaki 450 Enduro can be started by the simple push of a button electrically ( it can also be kick started ). Further it brings a wide non slip seat for added comfort, an 18 inch rear wheel to allow for thicker tires, and easy to use / lightweight digital instrumentation.
As advertised, the Kawasaki 450 Enduro looks to be a versatile and noteworthy newcomer to the dirt biking world.
2007 Kawasaki KLX110
A little man ( or woman's ) bike that could be considered a parent's best friend. It's great for new riders that just want to plug around. Still, the 111cc, four stroke engine certainly offers enough umph.
But only if you want it.
If not, then use the adjustable throttle limiter to control the speed that youngsters can go ( a parent's dream ).
Beyond that the Kawasaki KLX110 looks really cool, is made of steel, and is easy to shift ( again making it a good addition for new riders ). You can pick it up for about $1,700 in lime green or black.
2007 Kawasaki KX250F
So you want to motocross, eh? Few bikes have a track record on par with this one when it comes to such activities. What's more, the Kawasaki KX250F has improved once again. Word is, the new chassis feels less stiff. In addition, it now accelerates in such a consistent matter that lift offs are a breeze.
Beyond it all, the suspension has improved, thus making landing that much sweeter. And all for only about $6,000.
2007 KTM 250XC-F
Riders will love the all new fork with smaller cartridge rods, which in essence lowered the weight of this off road favorite. The KTM 250 XC-F is the kind of bike that can handle a variety of terrains and won't make you feel every bump ( the suspension is marvelous ). Further, the two stroke engine more than serves its purpose.
If you want the KTM 250 XC-F, it will cost you somewhere near $6,800.
2007 Suzuki RM-Z250
First, it looks cool. So, if you want to impress the ladies ( or men ) the Suzuki RM-Z250 is a bike to consider.
Beyond that, its 250cc, four stroke engine has what it takes to both start and finish strong. Further, the word out there is it handles wonderfully. So, if you want to race and / or have fun, the Suzuki RM-Z250 may be for you ( it runs about $5,600 ).
2007 Yamaha PW50
A good bike for riders just starting out. First reason - it's all automatic. Thus there's no shifting, which translates to one less thing newer riders will need to worry about.
Second - and every parent will enjoy this - speed can be controlled via an adjustable throttle stop screw.
Beyond that, the Yamaha PW50 is a very comfortable, quiet bike. Its 19.1 inch seat height allows most people, even the more diminutive of us, to plant both legs on the ground. Hence, added safety.
If you're a parent with concerns about a new rider ( and you should have concerns ) the blue / white Yamaha PW50 may be for you.
For around a grand, it's a steal.
2007 Yamaha WR250F
This is a very solid bike that has done a lot to improve. The Yamaha WR 250F's aluminum chassis gives riders a compact and sturdy feel that is often missing on dirt bikes. Beyond that, it has great suspension, which is exactly what you want with this kind of ride.
Besides, its blue / white design really looks great. And all for only $6,400.
